Welcome to the IBP Knowledge Gateway

Welcome to the Implementing Best Practices (IBP) Knowledge Gateway--a simple and powerful tool for virtual Communities of Practice.

The IBP Knowledge Gateway brings together individuals and groups around the world to exchange, communicate and share knowledge on a variety of health issues. The system has been designed to:

• Improve access to information, resource materials, tools and other publications
• Provide opportunities to network colleagues and experts around the world
• Encourage the sharing of knowledge, expertise and practical experience
• Create opportunities to share best practices and lessons learned
• Offer discussion forums to ask questions, debate issues, share opinions and work together
• Support virtual Communities of Practice focused on specific issues or assignments

The IBP Knowledge Gateway is easy to use and can be accessed from any computer. It functions through your e-mail, and automatically archives discussions, documents, announcements and events online.
