This community provides a forum for sharing information on private sector partnerships and corporate social responsbility related to health. It was created initially to enable the sharing of CSR information among participants in a regional training workshop that took place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (30 October-November 2). Entitled "Partnerships in Health at the Community Level: Making Corporate Social Responsibility Work in East Africa," more the 65 NGO, business and government representatives from Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia participated.
This sub-community is intended to facilitate the work of the Tanzania Corporate Social Responsibility Working Group. This grop formed after the Partnerships in Health at the Community Level Workshop in October 2006.
This activity is anticipated to generate a clear understanding of nurses' roles in disaster, including prevention/mitigation, preparedness, responses, and recovery/rehabilitation. All participants can give their opinions on this topic.
