This is the official website for the Leadership Forum on Health Information Systems (HIS). The first regional Forum was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from August 10 to 12, 2009. The next regional Forum will be held in Southern Africa (TBD)Participation is by invitation only.

The aim of the forums is to strengthen and accelerate country-owned and country-led strategies for managing HIS. The Forums serve as a venue for sharing approaches and linking countries with potential sources of technical and financial resources for strengthening HIS. It builds on existing strategic planning and ongoing efforts of strengthening national HIS.
